What better way to start your planning for the upcoming holidays than to mark your calendar for two of our very popular holiday events.
First, is our 6th annual LADIES NIGHT OUT.  This event will be Friday, November 20 from 5:00 to 8:00.  Every year this event gets bigger and better than before.  It has become a pre-holiday highlight for ladies (and for men) to escape into a night of shopping and fun.  The evening includes great sales on our entire stock of holiday home décor, live music, raffle on great prizes, wine tasting, many great vendors.  Our special guest is THE ORIGINAL “SNOW QUEEN”, Donna Strother Deekens, who enjoyed playing the role of SNOW QUEEN for many years with the “REAL SANTA” at Miller & Rhoads and Thalhimers. Donna is the author of four books and will be doing BOOK SIGNING. This is a catered event with great food and snacks.  Santa will be making his debut.  And, it is a FREE event.  We hope to see you so spread the word and bring a friend!
Second, is our 17th annual HOLIDAY OPEN HOUSE.  This event is on Saturday and Sunday, November 21 & 22.  Saturday has been tagged Richmond Symphony Day.  The Great Big Greenhouse & Meadows Farms Nursery is a proud sponsor and support of the Richmond Symphony.  One this day, members of the Richmond Symphony Orchestra League will provide a fantastic bake sale, will have members of the youth orchestra performing music, and the School of Rock will also perform.
In addition, our sale on holiday home décor continues throughout the weekend.  Santa will be here on Saturday from 10:00 to 2:00 and on Sunday from 12:00 to 4:00 so be sure to bring your camera to take pictures of your children or pets with Santa in a beautiful Christmas setting.
Oh!  And, to add to all the festivities for the weekend, we just received our first shipment of freshly cut Christmas trees, wreaths, swags, and garlands.
So, come out and see for yourself why many consider us Richmond’s best garden center.
