The sky is the limit when it comes to finding new and unique gifts for that gardener in your life.  So let the fun begin in shopping for your favorite gardener.  It can be as easy as 1, 2, 3.  Here are the three easy steps:                1.  Stop by The Great Big Greenhouse & Nursery.     2.  Have a set budget in mind.       3.  Let me or any of our other associates show you some great gardening gift ideas.
There is no shortage of trowels, hoses, pruners, and birdhouses out there just waiting to be wrapped up for your favorite gardener.  We have a large selection of birdhouses and bird food.  Personally, I find it very rewarding feeding the birds this time of year and watching them out my window.
Garden magazines, such as The Virginia Gardener, are a great gift idea to add.  On a cold, wintry day you can sit back in your favorite chair and do some reading.
A gardener never has enough gloves, pruners, trowels, or new equipment.  Don’t get me started on plants because, even in mid-December, you can find beautiful hardy perennials, such as hellebores and heuchura to give as a gift.  Plus, beautiful indoor, tropical plants.  Did you know that having houseplants is healthy.  This is why they are referred to as the “clean air machine”.  Houseplants help clean the air that we breath.
The 2016 vegetable and flowers seeds from Botanical Interest are here.  Seed packs make great stocking stuffers.
And, if you can’t decide, a Great Big Greenhouse gift card is always a great gift idea.
As I said in the very beginning, the sky is the limit when it comes to finding unique and wonderful gifts for that gardener, or two, in your life.
